InRef, LLC was recognized with a Silver Davey Award for website design during the 2015 Davey Awards. The honor was presented for work on the Battle of Tippecanoe – To Compel With Armed Force website in the education category. The project created a companion website for the U.S. Army’s staff ride handbook for the Battle of Tippecanoe. Staff rides are a unique educational technique invented by the U.S. Army to teach soldiers about battlefield leadership.

According to the Davey Awards website, the award program is exclusively for smaller organizations with annual billings or revenues below certain levels. The Davey Awards are designed to level the playing field so smaller organizations compete with their industry peers. The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AVIA) judges and sanctions the Davey Awards.
