InRef, LLC was recognized with an Award of Distinction for website design during the 2016 Communicator Awards. The honor was presented for work on a client online portfolio. The project included creating content to showcase the client’s research, commercial work, and volunteer activities. It included a WordPress child theme, client identity (logo and favicon), custom header, and content revision and creation.

According to the Communicator Awards website, the award program is an international program designed to recognize excellence, effectiveness, and innovation in communication. The Award of Distinction is awarded for projects that exceed industry standards in quality and achievement. The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AVIA) judges and sanctions the Communicator Awards.
